Photography By Joey Roberts

Here's just a small sampling of the projects that I have worked on.

A Tribute to the past

This piece, inspired by JFK's legacy, was meant to stand as a reminder to always strive for forward progress while never forgetting the past. We must learn from our past or we will surely repeat it.

Helping When It Is needed

Here, I was able to help in the identification of a Bottlenose Dolphin Calf that had gotten a buoy line wrapped around its tail. Working with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration as well as the Florida Wildlife Conservation Agency, a team was mobilized to assess the health of the dolphin and determine the best course of action. This is a great example of what aerial photography can accomplish and contribute to making a better world.

Every year in the Low Country town of Beaufort South Carolina the Beaufort International Film Festival transforms the town from a sleepy little haven into a busy, exciting setting bringing filmmakers and moviegoers together for an exciting weekend of screenings, educational seminars, parties, and awards.

Beaufort International Film Festival

This project was done as part of an internship at South Carolina Educational Television. Myself and a partner, Bradley Stanley, were tasked to create a short video highlighting an event or topic that would be of interest to South Carolinians. In this video, we wanted to capture the communities enthusiasm for the festival and highlight some of the key events going on in the festival.
